Went for the interview today..
how was it?? erm.. not good..
okay.. let me start from the begining..
at first, the interviewers asked us to introduce ourselves..
we were divided into a group of five..
then, they gave us two topics to discuss..
one in malay and the other one in english..
the first topic was about obesity, the causes, the consequences, the steps to overcome and so on..
well, i couldn't really speak well in english so i think i did quite bad..
the second topic is about the importance of teaching science and maths in english..
this was the part which i couldn't even think of a point to elaborate since all the points were already given by the other candidates..
so, when it reached my turn, i said something really stupid..
interviewer: what do you think about that?? do you agree or disagree with it??
me: i think those subjects should be taught in english especially maths. for instance, if maths is taught in malay, when it comes to memorising the multiplication thing, the "suku kata" will be much more than the english's.. so 45x75=3375 will be like "empat puluh lima kali tujuh puluh lima sama dengan tiga ribu tiga ratus tujuh puluh lima" but in english, it'll only be "forty five times seventy five equals to three thousand three hundred and seventy five"
quite stupid though.. but no choice.. i couldn't think of any other points that time..
well.. although i answered those questions really foolishly, i've learnt a new experience..
(since i haven't been to an interview before)
besides, i've also made new friends and chatted with them before the interview..
so, i could hardly feel the nervousness and the adrenaline rushing in my veins as i thought i would the night before..
for those people who've done their interviews.. CHEERS~ u've completed a rather exciting task..
for those who haven't, GOOD LUCK~
